"Holy shit this is good. DRY HEAVES remind me a lot fellow countrymen from the now defunct SHITTY LIMITS. Playing a fast old hardcore punk sound with odes to MINOR THREAT and the ADOLESCENTS, yet still keeping in a modern DIY feel, DRY HEAVES deliver one great 7". All the classic subjects are tackled here: people who talk too much; kids being drugged by their parents so they are normal; and the song "Graft"is the classic ode to not wanting to a get a regular job like society tells ya. Oh yeah, this record rocks."
(Maximum RockNRoll)

"This record fucking rules. Simple riffs, fast beats, clean vocals… but all played at a frantic beat and with a really crisp recording. I hear old U.K. melodies in the vocals, old American hardcore in the guitar, and rock’n’roll in the drums. This is punk rock by weirdo British kids who drink 40s and skateboard and just want to play shitty tours for no money in other people’s basements. The product is simple, but so organic and unpretentious that it’s hard to even describe the sound. It’s like early Black Flag mixed with the Buzzcocks with a dose of modern party thrash thrown in because they don’t care what you think. Buy this if you think all the early Fucked Up singles were overrated and you still have fun getting drunk at Municipal Waste shows."

"Snaggletooth is the fanged face that serves as the symbol of Motörhead, but also Snaggletooth are some freaked out guys from Singapore. With their first three track demo they deliver cathchy as hell up tempo dity metallic punk with lots of rock'n'roll in it. They listen to MIDNIGHT with breakfast, they drink coffee with BURNING LEATHER and they spitting steel all night long with MOTORHEAD. If you like your balls catching fire Snaggletooth are gonna punish you for being so cunt for not knowing them already. members of Distrust and Vaarallinen (finnish punk at it's finest -check them). RM 8 PPD.
AVAILABILITY: STILL AVAILABLE.
FIRST COMPILED MATERIAL. LP "GATAN KALLAR" AVAILABLE FROM HARDA SKIVOR.
CO-RELEASED WITH CACTUS RECORDS.

"This is the best hardcore record I have heard in years. I'm not talking about 80's hardcore either, this is tough as nails hardcore with youth crew breakdowns and mosh parts. The thing that sets this record apart from a lot of the jocular HC bands is the fact that this music is played by punks and you can hear a distinct swedish kang influence here. I have to say HARDA TIDER (Hard Times) are one of the best live bands I've seen in quite some time as well. That puts their guitarist in three of my favorite bands going currently (SKITKIDS & HERATYS)."

"Damn! This record is groovie as hell! For those who aren't aware, SISTA SEKUNDEN is one of the most hard-working, constantly touring, best punk rock / hardcore acts of Sweden. They may sing in their native language, but this aspect does not prevent them from writing songs (and consequently records) full of catchy punk rock tunes, taking influences by the 80s/90s Swedish punk rock / melodic hardcore scene and 70s rock, as well. Their songs are not just catchy but fucking well-structured, as well, since all the band members are experienced enough to deliver uncompromising punk rock music to dance with. The new record, and third in the row, consists of 13 songs in the unique SISTA SEKUNDEN style, even though it seems to me that the album is both more mature & more melodic. And this is undoubtedly good!"
(World's Appreciated Kitsch)

Released worldwide on the 5th May.

04 - SISTA SEKUNDEN 'DON'T BLAME US'

RM 7 PPD.
AVAILABILITY: SOLD OUT
12" LP VERSION AVAILABLE FROM INSTIGATE RECORDS.
CO-RELEASED WITH REVULSION RECORDS.

"The cover of "I am not a punk", translated into Swedish ("Jag är inte punk"), by DESCENDENTS sums it up pretty damn good. Besides the obvious; the fact that this four piece punk-rock combo from Malmö, Sweden has developed a complete and utter infatuation for American hardcore, it's clear that we're dealing with high quality punk-rock that stands out. And in times like these, the eccentric take of singing in Swedish is also a thing I applaud. 'Cause to be honest; you can easily sort out the quality from the quantity when it comes to punk sung in this native language nowadays. There's not on an ounce of originality to SISTA SEKUNDEN's music, I know, but they have the honorable courage to think outside the box sometimes. Furious hardcore in the vein of ADOLESCENTS is mixed with melodic punk rock in "Bombplan" reminiscent to early BAD RELIGION somewhere around "How could hell be any worse?" and that's a typical characteristic of the band and this album. "Skyll inte på oss" ("Don't blame us") is a reckless and rash album similar to a rollercoaster. In a good way, that is. If you're only going to buy one punk album this year, buy this one."
(It's A Trap!)

03 - DISCO VOLANTE 'BLOOD ON THE WALLS'

RM 7 PPD.
AVAILABILITY: SOLD OUT
CD VERSION AVAILABLE FROM DVC RECORDS.
CO-RELEASED WITH REVULSION RECORDS.

"Awesome rock n roll punk as fuck out of the dirty cities of Sweden, loads of great guitar leads and from times really fucking angry screamed vocals which are combined with some slower stuff as well, totally recommended kickass punk fucking rock. Also to add they're not just an amazing live band, that you shouldn't miss out if getting the chance, they're also setting your stereos on fire."
(Scarrey Records)

02 - THE BLINDS 'ON OUR OWN'

RM 7 PPD.
AVAILABILITY: SOLD OUT
12" LP VERSION AVAILABLE FROM CAGE MATCH FEDERATION.
CO-RELEASED WITH REVULSION RECORDS.

"The BLINDS are a 4 piece punk band from Upsalla, Sweden and they are here to kill. Consisting of all 16 to 17 year old members, they have the youthful energy to destroy everything. Think early US punk/hardcore like GERMS, BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS or REAGAN YOUTH mixed with Japanese hardcore like LIPCREAM. The recording quality is excellent and the guitar sound is perfect, with a lot of fuzz and treble. This is perhaps on of the best LPs in this genre so far. Recorded, mixed & mastered in Studio Hogfarm, Västerås, Sweden."

"HARDCORE-PUNK. These youngsters, aged 16-17, bash out straight-forward, catchy punk with a clean guitar sound. THE BLIND jam in the crucial style of early BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS, or ADOLESCENTS. Imagine a mix of recent scandinavian bands like AMDI PETERSEN'S ARME, YOUNG WASTENERS, DS-13 or REGULATIONS. Sweden has fostered some of the best hardcore bands of the past decade. 15 rough tracks with raspy vocals and snappy three chord gems fusing '77 era punk, hardcore and rock 'n roll. For fans of all those hyped swedish bands a must have. Economical and fucking deadly. This is perhaps on of the best records in this genere so far!"
(Bowery Records)

01 - SISTA SEKUNDEN '2006'

RM 7 POSTPAID.
AVAILABILITY: LIMITED.
CD VERSION AVAILABLE FROM INSTIGATE RECORDS.

" Thirteen tracks and not one over two minutes - most of them don't even make it past the one-and-a-half-minute mark. Short songs don't have to mean high intensity - but when it comes to SISTA SEKUNDEN it surely does. Ripping fast, rocking and catchy riffs are lined up after each other together with bass lines that follow the same recipe and a hectic drumbeat to back it up. Influences are drawn from fast old school hardcore, much of it from the US of A with only one exception - SISTA SEKUNDEN sing in Swedish. That, and the fact that the vocalist(s) probably were born to sing in a band like this, gives this tape an extra gold star from the Attack HQ.

There are tempo changes, lots of intelligent songwriting that makes it sound exactly the same all the way through while each track still is very different and has its own little extras, and the wise choice of using a lot of backup shouting just makes it even more solid. I love this tape!

The keywords here are tempo, energy, and fucking great! I don't know what more to write really. I wish I could have uploaded a video of me thrashing away to this disc as that would have been a great review! Or maybe not. Just get the damn thing will you?"
